TELL CITY – Lucy O’Neal Cassidy, 93, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, in Dallas, Texas.

She was born in Derby, April 2, 1918, to the late Absolum and Bertha Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Harry M. Cassidy and her first husband of 25 years, Thomas R. Eckerty.
Mrs. Cassidy is survived by her children, Leona Smukalla and her husband, Ervin of north Las Vegas, Nev., Wanda Cargal and her husband, Kenneth of Sugar Land, Texas, Sarah Grooms of Houston, Texas, Thomas Eckerty and his wife, Rose of Indianapolis and James E. Cassidy and his wife, Nancy of Troy; grandchildren Christopher and Thomas Smukalla, Jerry Cargal, James and Michael Eckerty, Dennis Grooms Jr., James E. Cassidy II, Loveda Lockey, Audra Lowe, Krista Boeh-man and Tamara Luecke and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Troy City Cemetery. 
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
