Local students named to University of Evansville dean’s list

EVANSVILLE – The following local students earned positions on the University of Evansville dean’s list for academic achievements during the fall semester 2012:
Ian Bashor of Branch-ville, majoring in engineering; John Chinn of Tell City, majoring in elementary education; Hunter Dauby of Tell City, majoring in biology; Amelia Ebert of Ferdinand, majoring in visual communication design; Kaitlin Emmert of Ferdinand, majoring in music therapy; Jason Gelarden of Evanston, majoring in nursing; Jordan Heck of Tell City, majoring in major discovery; Sarah Hopf of Birdseye, majoring in psychology; Maxwell Kitten of Ferdinand, majoring in civil engineering; Blake Kleaving of rural Tell City, majoring in marketing; Dylan Kleemann of Tell City, majoring in civil engineering; Jake Schwartz of English, majoring in electrical engineering; Alex Schwinghamer of Ferdinand, majoring in civil engineering; Taniesha Shelton of English, majoring in elementary education; Amber Thomas of Tell City, majoring in mathematics education; Lee Uebelhor of Ferdinand, majoring in accounting; Alyssa Waninger of Ferdinand, majoring in exercise science; Trent Wheatley of Tell City, majoring in political science.
The students made the dean’s list by achieving at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
