BOSSIER CITY, La. – Patrick Little, a 2007 Tell City High School graduate, is currently serving in the United State Air Force. The son of John and Joane Little of Tell City, Little is as-signed to the 2nd Bomb Wing, located on Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City. He is a cyber transport systems technician for the second communications squadron.
In his job, Little is re-sponsible for the communications capabilities of more than 15,000 clients on the Air Force’s oldest bomb wing. Barksdale Air Force Base also plays host to the headquarters of the Air Force Global Strike Command and the famed Eighth Air Force.
Little’s accomplishments so far have been to be nominated twice for airman of the month and receiving a letter of appreciation from his wing commander for restoring a critical communications link with minimal downtime.
The Air Force also ex-pects their members to be involved in the community in which they live and in keeping with that practice, Little is a volunteer assistant football coach at Airline High School, where he works mainly with the team’s punters and kickers. Airline High School is currently rated seventh in Louisiana Class 5A polls and is co-champion of their district.
Little also attends Ashford University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in business information systems.
He is married to the former Brittany Holman of Cassville, Mo. She is currently a student at Northwestern State University in Shreveport, La., and studying to become a nurse.
