SELLERSBURG - Rock Creek Christian hit 6 of 6 free throws in the final 50 seconds to hold off Cannelton 71-60 in boys basketball Saturday.
The Lions had hit only 13 of 32 free throws before they got hot at the end.
Rock Creek led by four or five points most of the game.
Cannelton forced a turnover with about a minute left and Chase Gerber shot a three-pointer that appeared to be going in to cut the Lions' lead to two points.
"How that shot didn't go down I don't know," said Cannelton Coach Brian Garrett. "I was already calling a timeout."
