TELL CITY – Linda (James) Moore, 57, passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at home.
She was born Oct. 8, 1952, in Derby to the late William and Naomi Swaney James.
She was a homemaker and veteran of the United States Navy. She was a member of Disabled American Veterans and American Legion Post 36 of Oakes, N.D.
She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Weber of Pascagoula, Miss.; a son, Chad Moore of Minot, N.D.; her grandchildren, Johnna and Kylie Burges, Jeffrey Weber, Allec Anderson, Tristen, Annalys and Alisha Moore; her fiancé, Gary Miller of Tell City; her brothers, Kerry and Mike James, both of Tell City, Douglas James of Cannelton, John James of Kentucky and Joseph James of Pendleton and her sisters, Peggy Harding and Vicki Henley, both of Cannelton and Sandi Braun of Jasper.
Funeral services were held Tuesday Aug. 24, 2010, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial was in Derby Cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 213. The Rev. Carly Stucklen-Sather officiated.
