Lincoln Amphitheatre to open season with musical

Season tickets go on sale Friday

LINCOLN CITY – A southern Indiana theater dedicated to telling Lincoln’s Indiana boyhood story will kick off its 2014 season in June.

The 1,500-seat, covered Lincoln Amphitheatre inside Lincoln State Park will open its 2014 season with “A. Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale,” the amphitheater’s signature musical about the life of Abraham Lincoln on the ground he walked in southern Indiana nearly 200 years ago from the ages of 7 to 21.
