Library welcomes new director

TELL CITY – The Perry County Public Library board members formally welcomed the library’s new director John Mundy July 3 at the board’s regular meeting.

As The News previously reported, Mundy was hired to replace former director Larry Oathout, who took a position with the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Library.

Mundy’s first day as director was July 2, although he said he did work at the Tell City branch June 30 to meet some of the staff and begin to get acquainted with the library.
