Library to showcase e-readers Saturday

TELL CITY – The Tell City-Perry County Public Library will offer two upcoming showcases for individuals interested in seeing what the e-book craze is all about.
Residents will have a chance to look at several of the major brands of e-readers, including the Nook, iPad, Kindle, Sony Reader and Kobo, and see which one might be for them. The first showcase will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the library. The second will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 17. The library is scheduled to start lending e-books to patrons Aug. 31.
