I wanted to send a letter to the News because after I was in a very tragic accident, many groups worked very diligently during a time that was difficult for all concerned.

I want to thank the Perry County Rescue Squad, Perry County Ambulance Service and the sheriff’s department and other local emergency and law-enforcement units and the public who were present and offered assistance after my Aug. 9 accident.
