LETTER: Village open house had many helpers

-A A +A

The Shubael Little Pioneer Village had a hugely successful open house Oct. 20-21. This was due largely to an army of dedicated volunteers. We would like to recognize some of those volunteers.

Antique Car Club, Blackberry Jam, Bob Gibson Band, Boy Scouts, Cromwell Radio, Liberty Christian School, Ohio Valley Tractor Assoc., Orscheln Farm Store, Patesville Christian Church, The Perry County News, Perry County Visitors Bureau, Southern Indiana Horse and Mule Association, Joe Birch, Danny and April Bolin, Ricky Corley, Lynn Dauby, Bill Elder, Jeremy and Amy Etienne, Brad Faith, Donald Foreman, Bill and Glenda Gibson, Bob and Rose Gibson, Jim and Ingrid Gibson, Kay Gibson, Marilyn Gibson, Pat Gibson, Will and Michelle Gibson, Zella Gilbert, Albert Hagedorn, John Hammond, Carolyn Hammack, Bob and Janice Harpenau, Louise Henderson, Keith Hunt, Jane Jackson, John and Sally Jackson, Dot Kessner, Kevin King, Brenda Martin, Travis McQuady, Gale Mehler, Becky Monetathchi, John and Doris Pfaff, Chuck Poehlein, Rick and Brenda Pund, Debbie Ramirez, Curt and Sue Rogier, T.J. Sauer, Bill Simpson, Maggie Stimming, Frank Stiles and Denny and Carol Zellers.

There may be some we have missed and we apologize for that. We appreciate all our volunteers and could never have a successful festival without them.

We would also like to thank our 1,500-plus guests for coming and leaving the village with little or no cleanup necessary.

The grounds were left clean of litter.
