LETTER: Tootsie Roll drive raised more than $4,800

Tell City Knights of Columbus Council 1172 would like to thank the entire community for its support of our annual Tootsie Roll Drive.

The many volunteers from Council 1172 were successful in reaching our monetary goal by collecting more than $4,800.

These donations will be contributed equally to the programs for mentally challenged citizens of Perry County.

We would like to thank the public, our volunteers, the K of C auxiliary and the local businesses that allowed us to man collection sites at CVS, Fifth Third Bank, McDonald’s, Noble’s IGA and Wal-Mart.

Very special thanks to Clarence Franchville for helping with this event.
