LETTER: Miss Schweizer Fest looking for support

-A A +A

My name is Kristin Nicole Truelove and you may know me from several different events and activities in the community. I graduated from Perry Central, where I participated in cheerleading for six years. I was involved in National Honor Society, German and art clubs, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Fine Arts academic team and Spell Bowl. I have probably served you at our local McDonald’s in the past and my most recent employer was our very own ThysseenKrupp Waupaca. Lastly, you may know me as your 2010 Schweizer Fest Queen.

Now, however, I am a full-time student at Ball State University where I am double majoring in psychology and interior design.

The object of my letter, however, is to ask our very own community for help. I have always been a very goal-oriented and ambitious person. I have decided to participate in the Miss Indiana Teen USA Pageant in November of this year and I am looking to the community for some much needed support. Along with paying for college on my own, it has been difficult for me to raise the money that I need. With that said, I am looking for prospective sponsors who would be interested in making a donation to help assist with my $1,195 sponsorship fee. This amount covers all of my expenses during the three-day event, including food, lodging and so forth. If there are any families or businesses interested in being a part of my sponsorship, you will also receive personal recognition as a Miss Indiana USA sponsor.

Any and all donations are helpful and everything adds up. Your support will be truly appreciated. If you have any questions at all or would like to contact me for more detailed information, please feel free to call me on my cell phone anytime at (812) 508-5370.

KRISTIN TRUELOVE
