LETTER: A few ideas for Tell City leaders to ponder

I’ve got a few ideas that I would like to share with those who are interested.

I think a pet parade would be a good idea within our annual Christmas parade in Tell City. Those wishing to participate could arrive with their dogs on leashes and take up the space of say, two floats. At the rear of the pet parade, dogs available for adoption from the animal shelter could be walked. This would allow those who wish to show off their pets to do so, and the shelter could possibly adopt out animals that would otherwise be euthanized; win-win.
