LETTER: Donations sought for Living Bread Pantry

-A A +A

My name is Michael Rounds and I am with the Living Bread Food Pantry operated by the Tell Street Baptist Church in Tell City. We are a nonprofit agency serving the community and the surrounding area.

Living Bread Food Pantry began operations in 2003 with the purpose of providing free food and counseling to the needy of Perry County and the surrounding area. The Living Bread Food Pantry achieves this by the many volunteers who have donated their time and from the donations from both secular and Christian organizations and individuals. Our policy is that “no one in need will be refused.”

The purpose of this letter is that we are holding the seventh annual Living Bread Food Pantry Auction that will be conducted May 29 by Dixon & Dixon Auction Service in Tell City. Scott Dixon has graciously volunteered his services to us for this purpose.

Last year’s auction was a huge success and with your help we hope to make this year an even bigger success.

We are currently seeking donations for the items that businesses and individuals are willing to donate for our auction this year, so that we may better serve the community in the future. If you can donate to our auction this year, it would be greatly appreciated. You may contact me at 836-4943 or by e-mail at mjrounds@psci.net. Donations may either be mailed to the church at P.O. Box 41, Tell City, IN 47586 or directly to me, Michael Rounds, 8002 Abbott Road, Tell City, IN 47586. Thank you for reading this letter.
