LETTER: Derby Riverfest 5K a great success

On behalf of the Perry County Parks and Recreation Department and its board of directors, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people and organizations that made our 5K run-walk event successful.

A total of 77 runners and walkers participated in the event, and a great time was had by all thanks to the following:

Participants, sponsors, Team Central, Logos, Perry County Democrats, Perry County Republicans, Perry County Sheriff’s Department, Perry County EMS, Tell City High School and the school’s cross country and track and field teams, the Perry County News and the Derby Community Association.

Each and every one of the organizations and individuals listed above were very instrumental in making this day a success.

The Perry County Parks and Recreation Department is very appreciative of your support and generosity.
