LETTER: County court systems should work together

I filed a small claims in Perry County court against a Boonville business. The Boonville business wanted it transferred so Perry County allowed it. The business was supposed to pay the transfer fee but never did so I refiled in Perry County.

The same judge allowed the same transfer back to Boonville and the same judge has now waived the transfer filing fee.

I paid the transfer fee in Perry County and now he won’t pay in Boonville so to get my case heard I have to pay a filing fee in Boonville.
