LETTER: Ask volunteers to clean parks

Reading the article about the Eagle Bluff Park at Cannelton was very sad to me. We have a beautiful restroom and shelterhouse.

As a tourist on Indiana 66, would I want to stop for a visit if I knew about the trash or keep on going?

I have been to all the locks on the Ohio River in Louisville District; our view here, the river, locks, power plant is the best overall.

Try asking the good people from Perry County to volunteer an hour or two each week to help keep it clean.
