Chicken dinners that drew rave reviews sold out in just a few hours at the Perry County 4-H Fairgrounds Saturday. A benefit for local volunteer firefighter Zach Taylor drew hundreds of people for dinners, a large auction and evening euchre tourney. Money raised will help pay travel and other expenses for the family of the 19-year-old third-generation member of the Anderson Township Fire Department. He is currently fighting lymphoma and leukemia and faces several more months of treatment. The crew pictured above prepared meals in the building’s basement.
