CANNELTON - While county health officials are still waiting for large-scale shipments of injectable H1N1 influenza vaccine, Sara Gehlhausen is working on plans to set up mass immunization clinics when supplies arrive.
"Our plan is to have a large-scale clinic at a central location," said Gehlhausen, the county's public health nurse.
Her office received some of the nasal-mist vaccine and has been offering it to people working in health-related fields as well as emergency workers. The injectable vaccine is expected soon at health departments around the state.
