JASPER—Charissa Lahee placed fourth in two individual races and a relay to lead Tell City to sixth place in the 11-team girls swim sectional Saturday.

Tell City scored 167 points. Jasper won with 471.
Lahee took fourth in the 50-yard freestyle in 27.32 seconds and in the 100 free in 1:01.21.
She teamed with Derrian Zabel, Bailey Powell and Loren Braunecker to place fourth in the 200 free relay in 1:55.89.
The Marksmen had been seeded sixth in that race. “That relay really did well,” said Tell City Coach Angie Spinner.
Those same four girls placed sixth in the 400 free relay in 4:16.92.
Braunecker placed sixth in the 200 free in 2:10.15 and seventh in the 500 free in 6:03.57.
Sydney Brown, Madison Schuetter, Elizabeth Bishop and Kassi Peter took seventh in the 200 medley relay in 2:22.38.
The top 16 in each event scored, but the rest of the Marksmen’s scoring came in the consolation finals.
They had three girls close together in the 100 butterfly. Elizabeth Bishop was 13th in 1:27.64, Claire Bishop 14th in 1:27.76, and Brown 15th in 1:28.66.
Zabel was 12th in the 50 free in 29.40 and 14th in the 100 free in 1:07.77.
Powell was 12th in the 200 free in 2:23.67 and 13th in the 500 free in 6:27.40. Peter placed 14th in the 500 free in 6:44.57.
Brown was 16th in the 100 backstroke in 1:19.61.
“Kassi Peter dropped seven seconds off her (previous) personal best in the 500 free,” noted Spinner. “And our 400 free relay dropped six seconds.”
She said nearly all the Marksmen turned in personal-best times.
