TELL CITY - Castle's hot three-point shooting and Tell City's turnovers in the first half helped Castle jump to a 22-point lead and beat the Marksmen 89-58 in boys basketball Friday.
Tell City committed 10 turnovers in the first quarter. Castle scored some layups and free throws off them and hit 4 of 7 three-point shots that period to build a 26-13 lead.
"We didn't handle their press very well early," said Tell City Coach John Hayes. "That was a little disappointing because we'd talked about it and knew what they were going to do.
