DUBOIS—Wes Knies scored 12 points in the fourth quarter as Northeast Dubois overtook Perry Central for a 51-46 boys basketball victory Thursday.
Perry Central led at the end of each of the first three quarters, building its lead to nine points once.
But the Commodores had trouble stopping Knies, a 6-foot-2 junior forward in the final period.
“We talked about him being one of their better scorers—him and (Trevor) Atkins,” said Perry Central Coach Matt Carter. “And we did a pretty good job on Atkins.
