TELL CITY - Perry County's commissioners approved at their regular meeting April 21 a request to use money collected through the county clerk's office to provide free identification cards for children.
Teresa Kanneberg said $1,890 from the county's law-enforcement fund will pay for a visit from K-ID's BMV Inc. of Carmel Aug. 11, when children attending the Schweizer Fest free-rides night can have free cards made with their photographs, fingerprints and information such as their family doctors' names, any medical conditions and identifying marks.
