TELL CITY - Randy Roccia is recruiting ringers.
"I am extremely excited in the fact that we are again allowed to have fundraising kettles at each of the Tell City Wal-Mart store entrances this year," the kettle coordinator for the Perry County Salvation Army said in an e-mail message to The News.
The organization's kettle drive will begin the morning of Nov. 13 and run through Dec. 26.
"We are in need of volunteer bell ringers between the hours of 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. each day, Roccia said. "If you, your family, a service organization to which you belong, your church youth group or Sunday school class, or place of business would be willing to help man the kettles for a two-hour period, or perhaps take an entire day, please contact me to confirm and reserve a time on the schedule," he urged. Anyone interested in helping or who needs more information can send e-mail to rnrroccia@ comcast.net or call his cell-phone number, 319-1861.
"I look forward to hearing from you, and the opportunity to serve with you those in need right here in Perry County," he said. "We are all in God's army."
