Joyce Haywood, 83

TELL CITY – Joyce (Weisenberger) Haywood, 83, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
She was born in Tell City, Nov. 14, 1926, to the late Victor and Mary (Koedam) Weisenberger.
A 1944 graduate of Tell City High School, she later attended Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis, graduating in 1947. She worked as a registered nurse for Methodist Hospital before returning to Tell City in 1957.
Joyce was married Oct. 10, 1949, to David Haywood, who preceded her in death April 16, 1994.
