Jasper outswims Marksmen

TELL CITY—Will Roberts and Hunter Sandage each won one event but Tell City lost to Jasper 114-57 in boys swimming Thursday.

Roberts won the 50-yard freestyle in 26.78 seconds and Sandage took the 100 free in 57.66.
Roberts placed second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:23.38 and Aaron Vincent took second in the 100 backstroke in 1:14.53.
Luke Thomas placed third in the 200 free in 2:26.98 and in the 100 free in 1:02.82.
Trent Harding took third in the 200 individual medley in 2:33.20 and in the 500 free in 6:25.34.
David Meyer placed third in diving with 116.65 points.
Tell City finished sixth among six teams in its own relay meet Dec. 1.
Thomas, Collin Malone, Sandage and Vincent placed third in the 200 free relay in 1:49.46 for the Marksmen’s highest finish.
Roberts, Malone, Thomas and Vincent placed fifth in the 1,000 free relay in 12:59.50.
Malone, Kyle Goffinet and Vincent took fifth in the 150 backstroke relay in 1:53.68.
Goffinet, Gage Otto, Sandage and Thomas were fifth in the 250 free relay in 2:40.58.
Tell City, 0-3 in dual meets, will visit Northeast Dubois Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
