EVANSVILLE – J. Thomas Parker, 61, of Evansville passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Indiana University Medical Center.
He attended St. Benedict Grade School and graduated from Tell City High School. He retired as a UPS driver after 25 years. Tom was the founder of the Squadron MX5 car group and member of the Bentley Driver Club. He enjoyed sailing and his pets.
Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Jean Tooley in 1981.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lisa Parker; a daughter, Sarah; his son, Nigel Parker; his brothers, Steve Parker of Dale and Tim Tooley of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters Becky Elder of Tell City, Janet Davis of Jasper and Sandy Calvert of Hawesville, Ky., and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714. The Rev. Edward Schnur officiated.
