Santa waves to the crowd at the end of Saturday’s Tell City parade. The jolly elf devoted two hours of his busy pre-holiday schedule to visits with children in City Hall Park before the parade’s start. He returned to the North Pole that evening but was back in Leopold for that community’s parade Sunday.
Perry Central High School Band members Jenna Richardson, Sean Bybee, Alicia Hartweck, Trenten Lindsey, Mary Parker and Christopher Lawalin donned Santa caps for their traditional serenade of visitors to Leopold for the town’s Christmas parade Sunday.
A penguin cap and a pair of welcome hands help Paige Harrison, 3, stay warm while waiting for Leopold’s parade to begin. Morning showers stopped in time to allow the 1 p.m. event to go off without a sprinkle.
