INDOT wants to amend agreement with parks board

CANNELTON - Bids for construction of a restroom building at Eagle's Bluff Park are still scheduled to be opened Nov. 28, but last-minute changes requested by the Indiana Department of Transportation could delay that bid opening at least a month.

The project was originally bid in January 2005 as a full-fledged visitors center overlooking the Cannelton Locks and Dam, but all bids came in more than $400,000 over budget. So the project has since been scaled down.
