By Kevin Koelling, Managing Editor

PERRY COUNTY - Work to be performed on Indiana 66 in Cannelton and into Tell City will be the subject of a public hearing starting at 6 p.m. March 18 in Cannelton's community center.

A legal notice published in The News last Thursday and today identifies planned work in two sections called Western and Cannelton projects. A sidewalk will connect the two cities once the work is completed, but that won't be until 2017 under current plans.
