WASHINGTON, D.C. - He and his soldiers were responsible for protecting KBR employees while in Iraq, but the company failed in its responsibility to protect him and the men under his command, a former Indiana Army National Guard company commander testified Monday.
The former Capt. Russell Kimberling was among alleged victims of sodium-dichromate exposure testifying before a Senate panel examining whether the U.S. Army and the contractor responded properly to the presence of the carcinogen at a site in Iraq.
