Humane Society finds Grandma a home

TELL CITY - Grandma, an abused horse that was featured in an Oct. 4 News article, has made progress on the road to recovery.

She will be placed with the Indiana Horse Rescue Association. Due to her age she will likely spend the rest of her days with them.

The Humane Society of Perry County is going to try to coordinate with other animal groups to find foster parents and permanent homes for neglected horses due to a poor hay harvest through out this area.
