Huber, Schroeder win most PC hoop awards

LEOPOLD - Nick Huber was named the boys Most Valuable Player and Alie Schroeder received the most girls awards at Perry Central's basketball awards program Thursday.

Huber received the most varsity boys awards, including ones for leading scorer, best free-throw percentage, most rebounds, and All-PLAC.

He was a repeat winner for free-throw percentage.

No girls MVP award was presented, but Schroeder was a repeat winner for leading scorer, most rebounds and most blocked shots (she shared the blocked shots award with Melissa Schatz last year).

Schroeder also won for best field-goal percentage, All-PLAC and all-county.

Melissa Hahus was a repeat winner for best three-point shooting percentage and also won three other awards.

Audra Gehlhausen was a repeat winner of the best teammate award.
