MITCHELL - Nick Huber won three individual events and a relay as Perry Central repeated as PLAC boys track champion Friday.
The Commodores scored 143 points, 11 more than runner-up Paoli.
"I knew it'd be fairly close because their strong areas are our weak areas and vice versa," said Perry Central Coach Jason Barnett.
Huber scored 32.5 points to earn the Most Valuable Performer award.
Despite still being bothered by a sprained ankle suffered a week earlier, he won the high jump at 6 feet, 3 inches, the 110-meter high hurdles in 15.13 seconds, and the 300 intermediate hurdles in 40.59.
He teamed with Michael Ernst, Zach Hagedorn and Landon Neukam to win the 1600 relay in 3:32.24.
Corey Kimball, Hagedorn, Todd Gehlhausen and Ernst set a school record as they won the 3200 relay in 8:27.86. That broke the record of 8:29.99 set last year by Hagedorn, Gehlhausen, Ernst and Neukam.
Kimball also won the 1600 run in 4:46.72 and the 3200 in 10:42.39.
