DUBOIS—Northeast Dubois jumped to a 17-0 lead en route to a 51-28 girls basketball victory over Tell City Thursday.
“I can’t remember a possession on those first 17 points where we got a stop,” said Tell City Coach John Lyons. “If they missed a shot (in that stretch), they scored on the rebound.”
The Jeeps entered the game 5-1 and ranked No. 5 in the state in Class A.
“They’re good, but they’re not that much better than we are,” said Lyons. “They shot the ball really well.”
