TELL CITY - Perry County Memorial Hospital trustees approved purchases of computer software used by nurses and additional cameras that will monitor clinics around the county.
Meeting Aug. 26 for their monthly session, trustees approved spending $13,000 for Java Nursing, a computer software system will alert nurses to new medical orders as well as other critical information. Nurses will be able to jump from one screen to the other easily. The existing system now makes users retrace their steps before entering a new information field.
