TELL CITY - No decision has been made to build a new county hospital, but it could come soon, Chris Goffinet told the Perry County commissioners at their regular meeting June 16. The attorney provides legal services to them and also represents Perry County Memorial Hospital, he pointed out.
As The News reported June 10, hospital officials have purchased nearly 40 acres of land near the intersection of Indiana 37 and 237. Part of it was already zoned for commercial use, and the Tell City Common Council redesignated this month a portion zoned for residential use to commercial.
