Stacey L. Hosler and Jonathan K. Talbott were united in marriage during an afternoon ceremony Oct. 25, 2014, at Tell City Moose Lodge 1424.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Trish Kleiser of Tell City.

The groom is the son of Barb Cooper and Rick Talbott, both of Tell City.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Brandon Hosler, in the double-ring ceremony officiated by Linda Simpson.

Attending the bride was Crystal McManaway of Tell City, sister of the bride.

Rylee Hosler, granddaughter of the bride, was the flower girl. Dayne McManaway, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Best man was Rick Butler of Tell City, friend of the bride.

In place of the traditional unity candle, the bride and groom chose a sand ceremony to symbolize two families joining together.

Together with their children, Brandon Hosler and Sierra Talbott, the couple poured sand into a bottle to symbolize the blending of two families. Rylee Hosler, granddaughter of the bride, poured sand into the bottle in place of the bride’s son, Jordon Hosler, who is stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska and was unable to attend.

A reception followed at the Moose Lodge. Assisting at the event were Katie Holland, Melody and Bob Daughty, Stephanie James, Sierra Talbott and Jenny Brunner.

The couple honeymooned in Orlando, Fla. and resides in Tell City.

The bride is a graduate of Tell City High School and is the resident services director at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.

The groom is also a Tell City High School graduate.
