TELL CITY – Officials and volunteers with Horse Rescue South, based in Cannelton, told county commissioners in a regular meeting Monday they need support from the county but aren’t getting it.
Harrison, Pike, Crawford and Dubois counties have been good about providing support to the rescue organization, board member Becky Thorn said. “They were glad to do it. We have received nothing from Perry County in the years that we’ve been here. Nothing. We have put our hard work and our efforts into this for the animals.”
