Hoosier Heritage Fall Tour set for Sunday

ROME – Several activities will take place in Rome Sunday as the community celebrates the Hoosier Heritage Fall Tour. Events will be centered around the old courthouse, located in the town square.
Fried-chicken dinners will be served at 11 a.m. and will include mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, bread, slaw and homemade dessert with tea or lemonade. Serving will continue through the day.
There will also be a country store with cakes, pies, cookies, bread, canned goods and other goodies.
Live music will start at 11:30 a.m. with Ray Reed and the Nashville Revue Band. Weather permitting, Jim Krutz will provide free horse-drawn-wagon rides and guests can tour the historic courthouse.
