Reece Novak glues the back side of a construction-paper cutout soon to adorn gift bags he and classmates at Stepping Stones Preschool in Leopold made last week. Students planned to place cocoa mix and chocolate-chip cookies into the bags for parents and other loved ones. The days before Christmas are filled with excitement for students as they prepare for visits by Santa and vacation.
