Group works to preserve city history but faces aging membership

TELL CITY – As city leaders prepare to begin the budgeting process for 2014, one community group is hoping it will be allocated a share of funding to help it survive.
The Tell City Historical Society approached the city council in June to share updates on its work in promoting and protecting the city’s heritage. Members also reported on the financial challenges the group faces and requested to be considered for funding in 2014.
