Sara Lynn Hess and Charles A. Hinton of Tell City were united in marriage during an afternoon ceremony Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tell City.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Rhonda Hess of Tell City. Mr. Hinton is the son of Charles and Lisa Hinton of Tell City.
The Rev. Daniel Gadbaw officiated the ceremony.
Jaime Hess, sister of the bride, was chosen as the maid of honor. Samantha Duncan was a bridesmaid and Jaidyn Hinton, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.
Dustin Hinton, cousin of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsman was Cody Hinton, cousin of the groom.
Usher was Markie Rhodes and the ring bearer was Wyatt Hinton, son of the groom.
RaeAnn Wintin of Brownstown, cousin of the bride, registered guests and Sophia Kreis of Brownstown, cousin of the bride, distributed programs and bubbles.
Mr. and Mrs. Chris Seitz were the organist and vocalist.
A reception was held at the Perry County 4-H Fairgrounds. Assisting at the reception were Heather Brown and Jessica Hinton, cousin of the groom. Cindy Brown and Linda Embry, aunts of the groom, designed the cakes. Music was provided by Tim Zoll of Boonville.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hinton honeymoon-ed in Orlando, Fla., and will reside in Tell City.
The bride is a graduate of Tell City High School and the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminal justice. She is a caseworker at Branchville Training Center.
Mr. Hinton is also a graduate of Tell City High School. He is employed at the Branchville Training Center as a guard.
