Herman and Carolyn Theis

Herman and Carolyn Theis of Tell City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 23, 2012, with their family.

MR. AND MRS. HERMAN THEIS

Mr. Theis and the former Carolyn Brinksneader were married June 23, 1962, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Troy. The Rev. Eugene Weidman officiated the ceremony in the presence of family and friends.
The couple are the parents of Mike Theis and his wife, Terri, Mark and Danny Theis, all of Tell City, Jason Theis of Henryville and Terri (Theis) Shane and her husband, Rick of Kalamazoo, Mich.
They also have eight grandchildren, Jessica, Julian, Jillian, Jonathan, Jarrett and Jacob Theis and Emily and Lauren Shane.
Mr. Theis was a self-employed logger and saw-mill-er all his life. Mrs. Theis helped with the sawmill and poultry farms while they were in operation.
