TELL CITY - Vanderburgh County Judge Wayne Trockman has been named the hearing officer in an Indiana Supreme Court complaint filed against Perry County Prosecutor Robert Collins.

Trockman will hear evidence in the case and will make a report to the Supreme Court.

In an Aug. 2 complaint, the Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court presented allegations that Collins committed professional misconduct. The complaint alleges he made improper sexual advances toward former deputy prosecutor Lyn Hayse.

Collins, who faces possible penalties ranging from a private or public reprimand to suspension or disbarment, has said he will fight the allegations against him.
