The students of South Perry Head Start took a field trip to the Nancy Ress Horse Farm in March to learn more about farms. Children learned about the different items used to take care of horses and how they are used on the animals. They were also shown equipment used for horse riding. Pictured above are Savannah Cronin, Josh Temple and Alexander Sanderfur with Nancy Ress brushing one of her horses. For more information on South Perry Head Start, call Yvonna Holmes at 547-8463.
