Head Start students learn about animal helpers

-A A +A

Students at South Perry Head Start learned about community helpers during January.

They traveled to the Perry County Animal Shelter and learned the process of checking in cats and dogs that are taken to the shelter. From weighing in, baths, shots and medicine, children learned about everything the animals would need to be healthy. Pictured here is Cherish Moore holding one of the cats at the shelter and speaking with students (facing forward) Kengra Schraner, Emma Huff, Keira Woodrum and Abri Ingle.
