Harpenau leads Perry Central past Lanesville

LANESVILLE—Hannah Harpenau made 19 kills and 15 digs as Perry Central beat Lanesville 25-16, 25-16, 19-25, 25-20 in volleyball Monday.
Ashley Gengelbach added 13 kills and Sydney Goffinet 12. Gengelbach and Grace James each made four blocks.
James had 34 assists.
Brittany Parker made 16 digs and James and Jennifer Kemp each added 13 as the Commodores had strong, balanced back-row play.
Harpenau went 13 for 13 serving with two aces, Parker 22 for 23 with two aces, and Goffinet 14 for 14 with one ace.
