Harding wins four events as Archers second in PAC

TELL CITY—Trent Harding won two individual events and two relays to lead Tell City to second place in the junior high boys PAC swim meet Thursday.

Heritage Hills won the six-team meet with 235 points. Tell City scored 218.

Harding won the 50-yard breaststroke in 39.14 seconds and the 100 individual medley in 1:13.65.

He teamed with Colin Malone, Luke Thomas and Adam George to win the 200 medley relay in 2:29.36.

Harding, Thomas, Garett Smith and Trent Rainey won the 400 free relay in 4:58.14.

Thomas also won the 50 butterfly in 36.34 and placed fourth in the 100 IM in 1:25.56.

Rainey placed second in the 100 free in 1:06.40 and the 50 free in 27.88.

Malone placed second in the 50 backstroke in 39.27. Aaron Vincent was fourth in 44.16 and Smith 12th in 52.05.

Three Archers made the championship finals in the 200 free. Malone finished third in 2:55.03, Adam George fifth in 3:12.07, and Smith sixth in 3:17.23.

Gage Otto placed seventh in the 50 breaststroke in 54.27.

George took 10th in the 100 free in 1:30.58.

Vincent was 11th in the 50 free in 41.19 and Otto 12th in 44.38.
