PERRY COUNTY – Lynda Schank Kincaid has returned home to Clearwater, Fla., after visiting with her son, Jeff Milburn and wife, Mary.
While here she shared in the celebration of her brother, Larry Schank and wife, Margaret’s 50th wedding anniversary. Lynda was a bridesmaid in their wedding. There was a dinner, music, dancing and karaoke.
At times, three generations of Schank men were on stage, Larry, son Brian and Brian’s sons, Eric and Clinton, singing, playing guitars, drums, etc. Brian’s wife, Becky, sang a wedding tribute to the happy couple. Their daughter, Julie Kunkler and children sang songs and told joke stories.
Lynda visited with her aunts, Doretha Horlander, Mildred Williams, Alice Wittmer, cousins Paul Horlander, Marietta Melberg and Lori Melberg Dauby. She also visited Wanda Schank Zuelly of Newburgh, and Julie Kunkler and family of Evansville.
Several classmates met Lynda for lunch at the Patio. They included Marge Roberts, Ann Manley, Myrtle Braunecker, Sharon Strobel, Lorna Garrett, Beth Herrmann and Linda Ball.
They shared old stories of Linda, parties, dances, sleepovers, skipping school and all those mischievous fun times.
Lynda wants to thank all relatives and friends she met up with for making her trip home to Tell City so enjoyable.
